Privacy policy
Graha Disha is an astrology app run by Srikanth (@astrovedic_destined), Chennai, India. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect

We do not store the Prasanna questions you ask or the numbers you pick on our servers. A short list of your recent questions is kept only on your own device so the app can show your earlier answer.
Where it is stored
Your account and profile are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). The OTP text message is sent through Firebase's SMS service. Your chart calculations run on your own phone or computer; your birth details are not sent anywhere else.
Who we share it with
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Google Firebase processes it on our behalf to run sign-in and the database.
- We will disclose information only if Indian law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your profile is kept while your account is open.
- When you delete your account, your name, birth details and question count are erased.
- We keep a record that the account for your mobile number was closed, and the number itself stays in our sign-in system, so that the same number cannot be used to sign up again. You agree to this when you sign up.
Your rights
- See your data: your profile is shown in the app; ask us for a copy at any time.
- Correct it: you can correct your birth details once within 24 hours of signing up. After that, message us and we will correct genuine mistakes.
- Erase it: use “Delete my account” in the app, or ask us.
- Withdraw consent: deleting your account withdraws it.
- Complain: contact us first (below). If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
On your device
The app saves your language, chart style (South or North Indian) and recent Prasanna questions in your browser's storage. It does not use advertising cookies or trackers.

Graha Disha is meant for people aged 18 and over.

Changes
